David Collins and Amy Ratcliffe Announced as Stage Hosts for Celebration Chicago

We're still about eight months out from Star Wars Celebration Chicago, taking place April 11th-15th at McCormick Place, however plans are beginning to be announced for Lucasfilm's official fan convention.  StarWars.com announced today that David Collins and Amy Ratcliffe will be returning as stage hosts.  Ratcliffe, who is her third Celebration as host, will be hosting the Behind The Scenes satge, while Collins, who is on his seventh Celebration as host, will be hosting the Galaxy Stage.


Collins first hosted the Digital Stage (which was renamed the Galaxy Stage in 2016) at Star Wars Celebration IV in 2007 in Los Angeles, and has hosted it at every Celebration since Celebration V in 2010.  He is also a voice actor, having appeared in multiple Star Wars projects including The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and the Force Unleashed video game series. 

According to StarWars.com, the Galaxy Stage will feature,

"The Galaxy Stage at Star Wars Celebration will be home to the best in screenings and tech-savvy conversations, plus a good smattering of other legendary Star Wars entertainment."

Ratcliffe hosted the behind the scenes stage at Celebration London in 2016 and Celebration Orlando in 2017.  She is an entertainment journalist serving as managing editor for Nerdist.  She has also written the upcoming book, Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy which profiles 75 female character from the Star Wars series.

According to StarWars.com, the Behind The Scenes Stage will feature,

"Celebration’s Behind-the-Scenes stage covers the ins and outs of what goes into creating the Star Wars universe, featuring guests who are involved in the making of the movies, TV shows, toys, books, comics, and more."

The host of The Celebration Stage has yet to be announced.

Star Wars Celebration Chicago takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from April 11th-15th.  Tickets are available here.
