With only a month left until the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the countdown has officially begun. The promotional campaign for the film is now in full swing, and the good folks at Topps are getting in on the action with their own countdown.
Starting this week, Topps has begun releasing special "Countdown to Solo" trading cards which feature brand new images from the film. The first card includes a photo of Han Solo with his DL-44 drawn in front of the Millennium Falcon, while the second and third feature images of Lando and new character Moloch. Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on May 25th and stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!) as Han Solo, Joonas Suotamo (The Last Jedi) as Chewbacca, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as Qi'Ra, Woody Harrelson (True Detective) as Beckett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) as L3-37, Thandie Newton (Westworld) as Val, and Paul Bettany (The Avengers) as Dryden Vos. The film is directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), with a script by Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) and his son Jon Kasdan (The First Time).
