Hasbro announced last weekend at the MCM London Comic Con that they will be releasing a two-pack of Porgs as part of their 6" scale line of Star Wars action figures. The figures will hit shelves in Spring of 2018 and will retail for $5.99 USD. You can check out the image below,
Porgs are, of course, the avian residents of the planet Ach-To, where Luke Skywalker was found in the final scenes of The Force Awakens. Their design was based on the Puffins that live on Skellig Michael, the real world location where the final scene was shot. They will be featured in The Last Jedi and have been a prominent part of the marketing for the film.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th. The
film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley as
Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as
Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico,
Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo, Benicio Del Toro as DJ, and Lupita Nyong'o
as Maz Kanata.
