While Star Wars: The Last Jedi isn't slated to have a presence at San Diego Comic Con this weekend, the last Jedi himself, Luke Skywalker, will be making an appearance... He just has to be built first.
Today, Lego announced that they will be bringing a life-sized Lego version of the Jedi Master to their booth at SDCC. The statue is based on Luke's look from the last scene of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and how he'll presumably appear at the beginning of The Last Jedi. According to Yahoo Movies, the Lego Master Builders behind the statue used 36,743 Lego bricks and spent 277 hours making it a reality. It stands over 6 feet tall, which is actually a bit taller Mark Hamill himself, who is only 5-foot-9.
The statue will no doubt be in the background of countless selfies at SDCC, which begins on Thursday.
