The cast of the upcoming young Han Solo film has a lot of people excited. This is includes Westworld star Thandie Newton, who spoke recently about what it was like to be cast in Star Wars what the experience of filming it was like with Oprah Winfrey on Variety's Actors on Actors. Newton couldn't say anything about the plot, she did share and what being cast in the film meant to her, saying, "To be part of a legacy like ‘Star Wars,’ it’s loved for a reason,” she
said. “I could have been in it for a brief little nothing, and I would
have been thrilled and delighted. To be taken seriously, a
women of color at 44 years old and be in a dope-a– franchise. It’s when

The untitled young Han Solo film hits theaters on May 25th, 2018 and stars
Alden Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!) as Han Solo, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Emilia
Clarke (Game of Thrones), Woody Harrelson (True Detective) as Beckett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Thandie Newton (Westworld), and
Michael K. Williams (The Wire). The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris
Miller (The Lego Movie), with a script by Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) and his son Jon Kasdan (The First Time).
