The star of Star Wars Battlefront II (as well as last weekend's EA Play presentation about it), Janina Gavankar appeared on The Star Wars Show this week to discuss the upcoming game.  Gavankar was interviewed by host Andi Gutierrez about what it was like to be cast in the game and her relationship with author Christie Golden, who's writing the Battlefront II tie-in novel, Inferno Squad.  You can check out this week's episode of The Star Wars Show, featuring the interview with Gavankar as well as host Anthony Carboni's report from EA Play, below,

Star Wars Battlefront II: Inferno Squad is set for a release on July 25th and will serve as both a prequel to the game and a follow up to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  The novel will see Iden and Inferno Squad tracking down members of Saw Gerrera's Partisans who survived the destruction of Jedha City by the Death Star in Rogue One.

Gavankar was on hand at EA Play this weekend, where she excitedly hosted the Star Wars Battlefront II portion of EA's big presentation and took part in the gameplay reveal.  You can check that out below,

For those of you wondering, yes her dress was inspired by Iden's look in the game.  Gavankar wrote about the design of the dress on her website, Alt Found.

You can hear Gavankar as Iden in both the cinematic and gameplay trailers, which you can watch (again, probably) below,

Star Wars Battlefront II hits shelves on November 17th, 2017.  You can read Inferno Squad (or listen to the audiobook) starting July 25th.
