Lately there has been a ton of new trailers, TV spots and behind the scenes featurettes released to get us hyped for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. And as always, it appears there's more to this footage than meets the eye. A couple of Easter Eggs have been making the rounds online which will certainly get fans of Star Wars Rebels excited, as well as admirers of a certain Dark Lord of the Sith.

Before going any further, I should mention that the following content could be considered spoilery for some. The first is a minor spoiler, while the second could reveal a major plot point from Rogue One. Read further at your own risk. This is your official SPOILER ALERT.

Okay! So first up, Star Wars fans were quick to point out that there is a ship in a new TV spot that looks a little too much like The Ghost from Star Wars Rebels. Thanks to our friend Rictor for the screenshot.

You can watch the full TV spot here:

And now for the big one! If you blink you miss it, but in the background of a shot in a recent Rogue One behind the scenes featurette, you can see concept art that appears to be Darth Vader without armor. Here is a screenshot super zoomed in.

You can watch the entire featurette and judge for yourself below:

What could they need this concept art for? Will we be seeing a scene with Vader perhaps in a bacta tank? Could this be related to the tank we saw in the very first teaser for the film?

We will find out in 9 days!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16th.
