We heard a while back that Lieutenant Connix, played by Carrie Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd, would be back in Star Wars Episode VIII.  Now, Lourd has confirmed that she will have more to do in the sequel than the one line she had in The Force Awakens.  Lourd was promoting her role on the series Scream Queens and she spoke a bit about Episode VIII.  She doesn't say much but she did say it would be more than it was in the last film.  She also spoke about what it was like growing up with Carrie Fisher as her mom. You can check it out below (she talks about Episode VIII at around the 17:20 mark),

Star Wars Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15th, 2017.
