Clear your schedules for this Thursday because a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is on the way. A new TV spot air today during the Rio Olympics announcing that a new trailer for the film would debut on Thursday August 11th (presumably during the Olympics). The TV spot itself features mostly footage from the first teaser trailer, with a new shot of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) asking someone who appears to be Chirut Imwe (Donnie Yen), "Are you with me?" You can see the TV spot for yourself below,
The official Star Wars Twitter account also confirmed that the trailer is coming on Thursday,
Hopefully this doesn't turn out like last time we thought we were getting a trailer, when an ABC TV listing was found which mislabeled the behind the scenes sizzle reel from the Rogue One panel at Star Wars Celebration as a trailer. This time, however, it seems like when they say trailer, they mean a proper trailer. The other question worth asking is, will this just be the trailer that was shown exclusively to fans at Celebration or will it be something else? Seeing as the reshoots just wrapped up, my guess is that it will probably be very similar to, but not exactly the same as, the Celebration mini-trailer.See the premiere of the new #RogueOne trailer during Olympic coverage this Thursday. pic.twitter.com/xkQIIvoYu3— Star Wars (@starwars) August 7, 2016
