While Star Wars: Aftermath: Life Debt was recently released with much positive reception, and even debuted on $9 on the New York Times Best Seller list, we're already anticipating the next chapter in the series. Earlier today at the Star Wars Publishing panel at San Diego Comic Con, author Chuck Wendig, among other panelists, revealed the rear cover art for the third an final installment in the Aftermath trilogy, Empire's End. While we previously saw the front cover, which features a seemingly doomed Imperial Star Destroyer, the back includes a downed AT-AT with the words "Every end is a new beginning."
The fallen walker looks very similar to the one Rey lives in on Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Chuck Wendig mentioned at the panel that the title Empire's End is very literal and the Battle Of Jakku will be featured heavily in the book.
The book is due out on January 31st, 2017 and is available for pre-order now
