It appears at least two of the stars of Star Wars: Episode VIII have finished their work on the upcoming film! John Boyega, who plays Finn, and Anthony Daniels, who portrays C-3PO, both seemingly confirmed on social media earlier today that they have completed filming their scenes for Episode VIII.

Boyega posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption "Done!".

Daniels shared a tweet thanking members of the production team along with director Rian Johnson:

Just days ago Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, confirmed that filming would be wrapping in full on July 22nd. Rian Johnson also teased recently that they were begining to wrap main cast members, so Anthony Daniels and John Boyega are most likely not the first big names end their tenures on set, and they certainly won't be the last.

Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15th, 2017.
