This past week was filled with stories about what's going on with the reshoots for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  Though initial rumors suggested there was trouble behind the scenes on the film, more recent reports state that the reshoots were scheduled before the film went into production and that they are no different from those that take place on most films.  The reshoots, which are slated to begin shortly, will last four weeks and will feature two additions to the crew.  Yesterday we learned that writer-director Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton, The Bourne Legacy) will be working as second unit director and writer on the reshoots, and today stunt coordinator Simon Crane was revealed to have joined the film.

The report of Crane's involvement began with The Hollywood Reporter.  Crane's previous credits include Edge of Tomorrow, Saving Private Ryan, and Braveheart.  He also previously worked with Lucasfilm in the 90s on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16th and stars Felicity Jones, Forest Whittaker, Donnie Yen, and Diego Luna.
