Last week saw the latest Star Wars novel release in Del Rey/Random House's adult fiction line, Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray. The novel, which is set six years before the events of The Force Awakens and focuses on Leia's career as a Senator in The New Republic, has been met with near universal praise (see my review here). That praise has translated into book sales for gray, Del Rey, and Lucasfilm, with Bloodline debuting at #5 in the New York Times Best Sellers list and at #8 on the Sunday Times hardback best sellers list!
Thanks to all you Star Wars fans out there, BLOODLINE debuted at #5 on the NYT bestseller list! Let's celebrate! πΎ— Claudia Gray (@claudiagray) May 11, 2016

Other Star Wars Books to have made the best sellers list recently include The Force Awakens novelization (at #1), Chuck Wendig's Star Wars: Aftermath (at #4), Christie Golden's Star Wars: Dark Disciple (at #17), and Paul S. Kemp's Lords of the Sith (at #17).
Congrats to Claudia and the Star Wars Books team for this accomplishment!
