The stars of Star Wars: The Force Awakens won big at tonight's Empire Awards in London.  Daisy Ridley (Rey) picked up the award for "Best Female Newcomer" and John Boyega (Finn) picked up the award for "Best Male Newcomer".  The Force Awakens also picked up the awards for "Best Sci Fi/Fantasy", "Best Visual Effects", and "Best Director" for JJ Abrams.

Ridley and Boyega were both on hand and posted to their social media about the experience,

Ridley also chatted with Empire Magazine, who put on the awards, before the show about life after The Force Awakens and working on Episode VIII,

Congrats to Daisy, John, JJ, and everyone who worked on the film for their awards!
