Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just days away from hitting Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD making the hype real once more! To celebrate the upcoming release, the highly anticipated documentary "Secrets Of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey", which will be included with the Blu-ray, was screened in London earlier this week. In addition, Finn actor John Boyega surprised fans with an appearance and Q & A during the event. Lucasfilm has released a video which features Boyega at the screening discussing the documentary, describing a deleted scene and talking a bit about Episode VIII. You can watch that here:

Additionally, Metro reports that during the Q & A, Boyega teased that his new co-star Kelly Marie Tran will have a big role in Episode VIII:

"John told the packed and delighted audience to look out for ‘Kelly’ in the next film  – who he described as the ‘new star’ of Episode 8."

Tran's role in the film has remained a mystery, but it's nice to hear she will be a big part of the story, perhaps even as big as Rey and Finn. We're definitely looking forward to seeing what John's talking about when Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters December 15th, 2017.

Also, before he left, John took a moment to take a selfie with the crowd:
