One of the most intriguing casting choice for Star Wars: Episode VIII is Benicio Del Toro. While we still have no idea who he could be playing, the Oscar winning actor has been out and about discussing his upcoming mysterious role. The latest from Del Toro comes from an unlikely source: a behind the scenes featurette for a Heineken beer commercial. Del Toro recently signed on to become Heineken's spokesperson and appeared in a humorous commercial promoting the brand. In the featurette, Del Toro briefly discusses being cast in Episode VIII and what the role means to him. You can read and hear his words below:
"They contacted me, they invited me to come to their dance.... To do a movie in the Star Wars world is great opportunity to enjoy it with my daughter."

In the past Benicio has talked about his long standing affinity for Star Wars, and it sounds like his role in Episode VIII will be an exciting event for his family as well, which is great to hear.
Benicio Del Toro will star alongside returning actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill and Adam Driver, as well as new cast members Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran. Star Wars: Episode VIII opens in theaters December 15th, 2017!
