Andy Serkis Has Not Read the 'Episode VIII' Script Yet

Andy Serkis, who played Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, chatted with the BBC last night at the Empire Awards, where The Force Awakens picked up five awards, and revealed that he had not seen the script for Star Wars Episode VIII yet.  But not to worry, the Supreme Leader will be in the film, Lucasfilm just hasn't sent him his script.  Serkis told the BBC, "I don't get to know anything, he doesn't tell me a thing...I'm due to be filming and I haven't even seen the script yet."

Serkis' role was relatively small in The Force Awakens, but based on the way the film ended it seems he should have a larger role in Episode VIII.  Hopefully we'll get to see him in the flesh this time (instead of just as a hologram) and learn more about his history and motivation.
