Carrie Fisher, aka General Leia herself, tweeted out some pictures from set of Star Wars Episode VIII, seemingly confirming a rumor about the film's codename.  The General Leia actress posted several pictures of her dog, Gary Fisher, sitting on her chair on set.  Printed on the chair is "Space Bear: Episode VIII".  "Space Bear" has long been rumored to be the codename the production is using for the eighth installment in the Star Wars saga (similar to how The Force Awakens used "AVCO" and Return of the Jedi used "Blue Harvest).  Check out the pictures below,

Production on Star Wars Episode VIII officially began on Monday with many returning stars from The Force Awakens, including Fisher, Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver, as well as several newcomers, including Benecio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.  Episode VIII is directed by Rian Johnson and hits theaters on December 15th, 2017.
