Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been met with almost universal praise since its release last week. Now, it looks like the film is poised to take home same hardware when awards season kicks up in a few weeks. Among the many awards the film will be up for, Variety is reporting that The Force Awakens has been nominated for Best Picture at the Critics Choice Awards. It's competition for the award is The Big Short, Bridge of Spies,
Brooklyn, Carol,
Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian,
The Revenant, Room,
Sicario, and Spotlight.
Congrats to cast and crew of the film for nomination! Let's hope the Force is with them on January 17th!
