Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill has taken to Twitter to respond to fans who believed he committed a line flub during one of the final scenes of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope back in 1977. The belief was that Hamill accidentally called out "Carrie!" upon returning to Yavin IV after blowing up the Death Star when he should have called out "Leia!"
According to Hamill, he didn't and wasn't supposed to say either of those. Hamill tweeted in regards to the rumor, "TOTAL BS! Actually said "There she..." as in "There she is." Dialogue in that scene was dubbed. In-jokes disallowed!"

To me it always sounded like Hamil shouted "Hey!", not "There she..." or "Carrie!". Regardless, now we know definitively and can put this decades old mystery to rest.
