We watched the trailers, we've seen the characters, now all that's left to do is actually hear them. The first two trailers for The Force Awakens were narrated by Supreme Leader Snoke(Andy Serkis) and Luke Skywalker(Mark Hamill), respectively, but we haven't heard any of the new characters speak in the film yet, that is until today. Yes, today is Force Friday and tons of new The Force Awakens merchandise has flooded the market. Among the various items we have been treated to is an assortment of figures and masks that talk, and some are of characters that have never been heard before. Of course, if you don't want to hear the character's voices before December 18th, I suggest turning back now. This is your official SPOILER WARNING.
First off, IGN got a hold of a talking Finn(John Boyega) action figure. Watch the video below if you want to hear how he'll sound in the film:
Interestingly John Boyega seems to be using an American accent to portray Finn as apposed to his native British tongue. In case you didn't catch all of those lines, our friends at Making Star Wars transcribed them:
- “The name’s Finn and I’m in charge now.”
- “We go back to Jakku, we die!"
- “Stay low and put up the shields!”
- “We need cover–quick!”
- “FS2187!"
- “I don’t… know what… to do!”
- “I never should have rescued you!”
- “Listen, I’ve had a pretty messed up day!”
Next, we have a few lines from Captain Phasma(Gwendoline Christie) courtesy of a voice changing mask found by @davidpopineau on Twitter:

Making Star Wars also has a transcript of her dialogue:
- Move to your ships, now.”
- “On my command… ”
- “Fire FN2187.”
- “Submit your blaster for inspection.”
Here's the text version:
- “I’ve been waiting for this (day) for a long time”
- “Is it true… you’re just a scavenger?”
- “Don’t be afraid”
- “I feel it too”
- “You know what I’ve come for”
- “Don’t fight it… you know you can’t”
- “I’m immune to the light”
- “That weapon is mine”
- “Together, we will destroy the resistance and the last Jedi”
Of course this dialogue is somewhat distorted, and although it's likely it is taken directly from the film, we can't confirm that. If you want to hear these voices a bit better yourself, be sure to head out to one of your local retailers and pick up one of these toys now.
