Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens is just six months away and with "Force Friday" coming up in just over a month we are on the verge of something amazing.  For fans who can't wait, some new details have emerged about the final sequence from the film, as well as some new set pictures from the location shoot that took place last summer at Greenham Common.  As usual, there is a chance this could turn out to be false but if you are trying to avoid all The Force Awakens spoilers then stop reading now.  This is your SPOILER ALERT!

We'll start with the set pics so anyone who is curious to the point of looking at set pictures but doesn't want to know the plot can check them out.  These come from a post on the 28 Days Later Forum.  They appear to be from the Greenham Common set, which seems to be a Resistance base in the film.  Check them out below,

We can pretty clearly see the Falcon and some X-Wings in the pics, both of which we know were on set so no real surprise there.  The architecture in the final shot seems has me, more than ever, believing the suggestion that Greenham Common is used as a filmming location for Yavin IV in The Force Awakens.
Now for the heavy spoilers.   If you don't want to know plot spoilers, stop reading now!

Our friends at MakingStarWars.net have some more details about the final sequence in the movie.  This takes place after the Resistance have destroyed the First Order's base (killing General Hux in the process), Kylo Ren has killed Han Solo, Finn and Rey have dueled Kylo, the heroes have returned the Resistance base, and the droids have uncovered the secret of the lightsaber that kicks off all this action (Luke/Anakin's saber), the secret location of Luke Skywalker.    According to MSW,

The main question we were asked the most pertained to Luke’s Skywalker’s abode. Is it the same planet as where the Resistance Bay is located? At this juncture, I do not believe that is the case. I believe it to be a different planet.

We see the “Resistance Bay” area and the Falcon casts off. Everyone waves to the ship. According to our sources these shots are listed as exterior day shots. When the Falcon heads for the Jedi Monastery, the shots are exteriors and listed as being at night, which is indicative of space (all space shots are listed as nighttime by default). The next shot is a plate shot from Skellig Michael. This shot is listed as day. The rest of the shots of Rey walking up the stone stopes and handing the lightsaber to Luke Skywalker are also day. So she leaves the planet and it is daytime, then it is nighttime and then daytime again. So it implies they went to space to go to another world. I also always believed it was a different planet because Poe and Leia wouldn’t need the saber to find Luke if they knew what world he was on.

So there you have.  I'd always assumed Rey would travel to a new planet to find Luke.  It seems unlikely to me that he could be in hiding on the planet and no one know where he is.  Surely Leia would be able to sense it give their connection.

As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
