From Hasbro to The Force Awakens, a great deal of Star Wars goodness has already been revealed at San Diego Comic Con, but it's not over yet. Marvel has got in on the action by revealing two brand new upcoming Star Wars comic series this week. The first one, announced at Marvel's Friday panel, is "Star Wars: Chewbacca." As the title implies, the beloved Wookiee will be getting his own solo storyline in this new comic. The story will reportedly see Chewie stranded on an unfamiliar world after crash-landing there during a mission. ComicBook.com reports that Chewie's "loyalties will be divided when he has to chose between getting back to the Alliance, and helping a young girl in need." The series will also feature a “a very interesting visual language” without captions or word balloons showing what Chewie is saying or thinking. The series is written by Gerry Duggan with artwork by Phil Noto. You can see the first issue's cover and a variant cover below:
Chewbacca #1 is expected to be released in October and Vader Down will publish in November!
