It seems on top of blowing all our minds, both at Star Wars Celebation Anaheim and across the globe, the second teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has made history! Guinness World Records has recognized the teaser as the "Most viewed movie trailer on YouTube in 24 hours." They report that the 109 second teaser, which was released the morning of April 16th, garnered 30.65 million views in the short span of a single day. As a certain Sith Lord would say, "Impressive... most impressive!"

The very first Episode VII teaser also broke some records late last year, gaining 100 million views globally in a week, thus being named the fastest growing trailer ever.

I think it's safe to assume The Force Awakens will break even more records when it reaches theaters on December 18th!
