Star Wars 7 News had this to say:

We’ve seen a definite proof that the actor is portraying some sort of military officer in the film. Based on the uniform he is wearing and the rank insignia on it, we can conclude that he is playing a Rebel/Resistance General in the movie. He is wearing a brownish uniform with reddish belt and has a rank insignia that looks similar to this:

They also point to a recent interview costume designer Michael Kaplan did with Vanity Fair, in which he stated that the Resistance characters are wearing, "khakis and olives and some oranges—warmer colors." That description seems to match their summary of Leung's costume. They also speculate that he is playing a general, based on Rebel rank insignia from previous films. Star Wars 7 News adds that he only filmed for a few days, which could mean he only has a small role in The Force Awakens.

Keep in mind this is nothing more than a rumor until officially confirmed by Lucasfilm. Nevertheless, Ken Leung's face will be one of the many we'll be looking for on the big screen when Episode VII opens in theaters December 18th!
