It's time for a good old fashion casting rumor! This time about the upcoming 2016 film Star Wars: Rogue One, directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones. This comes to us from our friends over at MakingStarWars.net who heard from one of their sources that Lydon Shutcliffe has been cast in the new film. Shutcliffe, who doesn't seem to have many acting credits to his name, seems to have been cast because he is 7'1''. According to MSW's sources,
"Apparently, he has a part in Star Wars Rogue One. Not sure what as, most probably nothing major. As per the norm, nothing can be discussed about the movie.
One thing that is intriguing though is, he’s pretty tall."
Hmmm...what could a Star Wars movie need a really tall guy for? Dare we dream that Rogue One could feature a Wookiee?
As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
