As it turns out, there were some major changes made to five of the six current Star Wars films when they were released on Digital HD last night, just not to the actual films themselves per se. The 20th Century Fox fan fare was removed from all of the films, with the exception of A New Hope, and replaced with a Lucasfilm fan fare. Basically, now the film begins on the Lucasfilm logo with a few bars from the end credits music playing over it.

This will likely take some getting used to. It will be interesting to see if this is what they go with when The Force Awakens is released in December or if they come up with something new, like the Marvel fanfare. I don't have a problem with the change in theory, I do think the execution could have been a little better. For that reason I am hoping we see something, at least slightly, different in theaters this December.
And if you're feeling nostalgic for the old 20th Century Fox opening, you can also watch A New Hope which still has the 20th Century Fox fanfare, as Fox still owns the distribution rights for that film (or just pop in your Blu-rays/DVDs/VHS'/Laser Discs).
