According to MSW, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine will all be appearing in the season 2 premiere. Ashley Eckstein and James Earl Jones will be reprising their roles as Ahsoka and Vader respectively, though it is believed that Ian McDiarmid will not be reprising his role as Palpatine (with speculation that Tim Curry, who played Palpatine in several episodes of The Clone Wars following the death of Ian Abercrombie, reprising the part).
As for how MSW came across this info, Jason Ward explains that he overheard this information from someone at Lucasfilm at an event for the release of Marvel's Star Wars #1 Comic. He then took this information to his sources at Lucasfilm who corroborated it. This would also line with a rumor from earlier today that stated that Ahsoka is the mysterious Fulcrum.
The Rebels Season two premiere is slated to take place at Star Wars Celebration, which takes place in Anaheim, California from April 16th to 19th. Having an episode with those three characters premiere at a Celebration would be a huge event for fans. Still no word on when Season 2 will premiere on television (or online for that matter), but hopefully we can expect that information to be revealed either immediately after Season One wraps up, or during Celebration.
As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
