Rumor: Ahsoka Tano to Appear on Star Wars Rebels

We've been hoping for this one for a while.  A new report from the French website RS Doublage states that fan favorite Ahsoka Tano will be appearing on Star Wars Rebels later this season.  The site RS Doublage focuses on French voice actors doubling on shows in other cartoons, and reveals that Olivia Luccioni, who voiced Ahsoka on the french version of The Clone Wars, will be voicing her in the French version.

Now, if you're wondering how credible a source RS Doublage is, the french Star Wars fansite StarWars-Universe points out that RS Doublage does work very closely with the voice doublers themselves, so it lends a little more credence to this unconfirmed report.

Now, there's another aspect to this story that gets into potential spoilers.  So we're going to issue a SPOILER ALERT!  If you don't want to know the details of Ahsoka's return, then stop reading now.

RS Doublage also reveals that Fulcrum is Ahsoka in disguise.  This is something that has been speculated upon, with voice comparisons having been done that seem to indicate that this is at least a possibility.  And the there's this from the episode "Out of Darkness",

You'll notice the symbol on the crate looks a lot like the tattoos on Ahsoka's forehead,

I do really hope this turns out to be true, but only time will tell.

As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
