A new era for Star Wars comics began this week with the release of the first new Star Wars comic printed by Marvel in almost thirty years.  Marvel expected big things from 'Star Wars #1', believing it would sell one million copies.  It seems it's going to surpass that.  Bleeding Cool is reporting that Marvel has issued a second printing of the first issue.  The second printing will go on sale February 4th.

It's great to see so many people are excited about Star Wars comics.  I loved 'Star Wars #1' and I encourage everyone who hasn't already picked up a copy to do so.  It's a very fun read, with some nice Easter Eggs, and I'm very much looking forward to 'Star Wars #2' next month.
