The well renowned, 44
year old film actor, Warwick Davis (starred in popular film franchises such as
Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia and of course, Star Wars) recently spoke to Irish Examiner. The chief conversation
topic in this interview undoubtedly was Star Wars.
Warwick:
“What I’m most excited by is the chance
to see members of the old cast in the poster. I’ve been a fan of ‘Star Wars’ ever since the first film [‘Star Wars
Episode IV: A New Hope’] came out in 1977. This just feels like an amazing
moment.”
Warwick Davis’ choice of
words is most intriguing. He accentuates his excitement to view the ‘old cast’
in the Force Awakens movie poster. Many Star Wars fans will be as equally
thrilled to see members of the Original Trilogy on this poster, particularly as
there was no film footage of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill in
the recently disclosed teaser trailer.
The forecasted date for
the release of this poster is next month – January 2015 – and if Warwick’s
prediction comes to fruition, then we will most certainly be revelling in this
dissemination of new Episode VII content.
