Lucasfilm and ReedPOP announced today that the season 2 premiere of the animated series Star Wars Rebels will occur at Star Wars Celebration Anahiem this April 16-19th, 2015! The premiere will occur after a screening of the two-part season 1 finale. In addition, cast members Steve Blum, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, Freddi Prinze Jr, and Taylor Grey will be on hand at Celebration to discuss the end of season one and preview season 2.
While it does seem a little early to screen the premiere in April if the show is expected to return in the fall (perhaps Season 2 will air on Disney XD much sooner than expected), I must say I am extremely excited by this news.
