If you're like me, your head is still spinning after watching the amazing teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens that was released on Black Friday. But now that we've all watched it a hundred(or more) times, many are beginning to speculate when we will see the next trailer for the highly anticipated film. /Film is reporting that a brand new trailer for The force Awakens will accompany Marvel's Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which is slated for release next May. They report:
"We’ve been definitively told that another trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron when it opens in the Spring. Now, this isn’t some huge revelation. In fact, it’s pretty darn obvious when you think about it. That film, released May 1 in the US, is eight months before the Star Wars opening. It’s Disney’s second largest film of the year and the audience crossover is probably massive. Actually, it would probably be bigger news if there wasn’t a new trailer on Avengers: Age of Ultron. But there will be. Then it’ll likely play on Tomorrowland too, a few weeks later."
That's six months away, so it may not necessarily be the next trailer we see, but merely one of the trailers that will be released over the next year. In fact, I think it's logical to expect to see a new trailer released at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, a few weeks prior to Avengers: Age Of Ultron's release. In fact, both trailers could end up being one and the same. And in the meantime, as /Film suggests, we could see a new trailer pop up on other Disney films such as Into The Woods and Cinderella.
Regardless, we have a lot to look forward to! As always, take this report with a grain of salt, as it is a rumor until confirmed otherwise. You can catch Avengers: Age Of Ultron in theaters May 1st, 2015 and, of course, The Force Awakens on December 18th, 2015!
