Video: Sesame Street's Star Wars Parody

Sesame Street has been teaching and entertaining children since before Star Wars existed, so it's certainly about time that the People and Puppets of the classic PBS show made their own parody of A New Hope. Today Sesame Street released "Star S'Mores", which features Cookie Monster as "Flan Solo" hilariously struggling to keep from eating his co-pilot "Chewie" the Cookie. He seeks advice on how to control himself from "Only-One Canoli" and "Groda" on his way to rescue "Princess Parfaita". You can watch the entire video below:

Ironically, Grover was originally voiced by Frank Oz, who also voices Yoda in the Star Wars films. In this video, Grover plays Groda, Sesame Street's version of Yoda. And of course there are plenty of great jokes, including "Use the Four" and Darth Baker's "I am your father". Bravo to Sesame Street for this brilliant parody! Hopefully we can expect more based on the rest of the Star Wars films.
