Our friends over at MakingStarWars.net are hearing some more interesting plot details about Star Wars Episode VII from one of their sources.  While theses are just rumors for the time being, and could turn out to be false, we are still going to issue a SPOILER ALERT!  If you don't want to know anything about the plot of Star Wars Episode VII, stop reading now!

MakingStarWars.net's source covers a variety of topics so let's jump in.  First off they reiterate that Luke Skywalker is missing, but he has only been missing for ten years (not the the full thirty year between Jedi and VII, as some sites reported).  Like I said, this is something we've heard before, but every source that corroborates a story leads us closer to the truth.

Here's where things get a little more exciting.  Yesterday some set pics featuring Rebel/Republic soldiers leaked.  Apparently this was not the first time the source saw these soldiers.  According to the source, these soldiers are also seen in a piece of concept art that features Leia talking to a group of Hutts!  The soldiers are flanking Leia in the art.  The source describes the scene in the concept art by saying,"The picture looked as if (Leia) was having a meeting with (the Hutts). She certainly didn’t appear to be captive or under threat."  We all know what happened the last time Leia met a Hutt, so it will be interesting to find out what would bring her back to them (possibly her job as leader of the Republic?)

Another thing the source brings up is the possibility of a direct connection to a character from the prequel trilogy.  Apparently one the main characters from Episode VII is a descendant of Count Dooku!  The source seems to be unsure of whether it's Gwendoline Christie's character or Adam Driver's character but they do say, "Details and characters might have changed but the idea of an aristocratic villain with a heritage going back to the Clone Wars has been there from pre-production and as far as I know it’s still a major part of the story."  As a huge fan of the prequels I must say this really excites me.  Dooku is one of those characters that is very shrouded in mystery and one I would like to learn more about, and this might be a way to do so in the sequels.

Speaking of Sith Lords, apparently the Sith homeworld of Moraband will be appearing in Episode VII!  The source says, "The Sith homeworld is in the movie. It’s been there throughout production with various names attached to it. I had it confirmed to me by someone working in England that there are sets for the ‘Sith world’."  Again, this is something we've heard before, but it's always nice to get another source.   Moraband was, of course, explored in season six of The Clone Wars, but it would be interesting to see in live action form.

And lastly, there's the issue of the name of Daisy Ridley's character.  Based on previous rumors, we've been assuming that her name is Kira.  While this is still a safe bet, it may not be as safe as we once thought.  According to the source, "Her character WAS referred to as Kira during pre-production but also at times, Kera, Sera and Fawn."  Interesting.  I must say that, of the options give, Kira is still my favourite.  It will be interesting to see when and how these new characters names are revealed (during a panel at Celebration Anaheim is my preferred choice!)

As always these are just rumors until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney
