The name's Solo, Han Solo.
Or something like that. The British tabloid 'The Sun' is reporting a new rumor that current James Bond actor Daniel Craig requested, and was granted, a secret cameo in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII.
According to the Sun's source,
"Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him."
It's worth pointing out that The Sun does not have a very good track record when it comes to rumors. That being said, it would be cool to have Craig in the film. Based on the report it sounds like he'll be wearing a mask (or helmet?) of some sort. Like the source, I do think it would be a nice Easter Egg to say, "You see that stormtrooper? Yeah, that's James Bond."
This wouldn't be the only first James Bond connection to Episode VII. Actor Max Von Sydow played the role of Blofeld in Never Say Never Again. Another Bond related rumor from a while back was that Dame Judi Dench (Craig's co-star in Skyfall, Quantum of Solace, and Casino Royale) would be playing Mon Mothma in Episode VII, but I think we can file that one in the false category.
As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
