The title of Star Wars films are always a subject of many rumors and much deception, going as back as "Blue Harvest" in 1983. So far there have been a few rumored Episode VII titles, including "A New Dawn", "Order of the Jedi", and "The Hill". It's time to add another title to that list. Ain't It Cool News is reporting that Episode VII's title will be "The Ancient Fear."
It's an interesting title. I don't hate it, but I can't say I love it either. The thing that concerns me is that this title sounds like they are going to try and pull a "Spider Man 3" and try to re-write the previous films to fit the plot of Episode VII. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Regardless, we don't know if "The Ancient Fear" is actually even the title (or even the working title), so there's no need to worry yet. Word is the actual title will be revealed at San Diego Comic Con this summer.
As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
