For the years prior to the announcement of Star Wars Episode VII, Harrison Ford had become infamous for his distaste for Han Solo and Star Wars. But since then, and more recently being officially confirmed to be in the film, Harrison has had much more positive things to says about the 'Wars.
He recently attended the Cannes Film Festival and during a press conference for The Expendables 3, in which stars, he was asked about Star Wars. After reportedly trying to pretend he didn't hear the question, he gave in and said he was "delighted to be involved." And he went on to say, “We have a great cast and a great script, and the director, J.J. Abrams, is at the top of his game.” You can watch video of the exchange below:
It certainly is awesome and refreshing to hear Harrison, not only freely discuss his role in Episode VII, but to also speak with such positivity. If Harrison Ford is excited about Star Wars, then we must be in for a treat come December 18, 2015!
