Disney has announced their plans for promoting their upcoming film Million Dollar Arm - a "red carpet tailgate" from May 4th -7th - which it will include a special dinner event on May 4th (Star Wars Day!) to promote the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels. Invites for the event were sent out to certain bloggers and press in the LA area, who will be tweeting out information using the hashtag #StarWarsRebelsEvent.
No word yet on what the special dinner will include. It could just be a reiteration of stuff we've already seen (teaser trailers, character introduction videos, etc.) for the people who may not always follow Star Wars animation news. However, May the 4th would be a great time to reveal some new footage from the show!
Star Wars Rebels will debut this fall with a special one hour premiere on Disney Channel, followed by the rest of the series on Disney XD.
