The Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series may have ended, but that doesn't mean we don't have a few more Clone Wars stories to look forward to very soon. Darth Maul - Son Of Dothomir, a new four part Comic series was recently announced, and we now have the cover and synopsis for the the second Comic in the series:
"With his Shadow Collective army stalled, Darth Maul calls on Mother Talzin for help and is sent reinforcements—the deadly Nightbrothers! Maul is ready again to take on the Separatist droid army, Count Dooku, and General Grievous—in a trio of simultaneous battles!"
Darth Maul - Son Of Dothomir continues the story of Darth Maul after the shocking events of the season five episode 'The Lawless'. The Comics are an adaption of the scripts for unaired episodes of The Clone Wars that would have appeared in future seasons of the series had it not been wound down last year. The creators behind the series consist of Jeremy Barlow(writer), Juan Frigeri(Penciller), Mauro Vargas(Inker), Wes Dzioba(Colorist) and Chris Scalf(Cover art). The Comic will be available for purchase June 18th!
