Rumor: Yoda to Appear in Episode VII

As the production of Episode VII approaches, the rumors about the plot of Star Wars Episode VII continue to ramp up. Sources are now telling Cosmic Book News is reporting that Yoda will be appearing in Episode VII to "have words with Luke Skywalker about a rising unbalance in the force and the need to preserve the Jedi."

But that's not all, they're also reporting there will nods to other major Jedi from the saga in the form of holograms in the background of the film. According to the their source,

"It's said it wouldn't be anything major, but would be in a background sequence featuring holograms of Yoda, Alec Guiness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn, Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu as well as others. "

This does sound very interesting. Of all the Jedi masters to bring back, Yoda would be the easiest seeing as Frank Oz is still alive and the character would most likely be CGI. It does also seem to line up with the rumor that Episode VII will center around the main characters from the original trilogy. The holograms would also be a great way to connect Episode VII to the past without beating fans over their heads with it.

As always this is just a rumor, until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
