Open auditions for the next Star Wars film are underway around the globe, and thousands of hopeful actors and fans have flocked to the sites to take a shot at landing a role in one of the most anticipated films in history. Former film and television actors Sam Witwer, Daniel Logan, James Arnold Taylor, Dee Bradley Baker, and Meredith Salenger offered advice to auditionees.

Quotes include: "Be yourself." (Logan), "Avoid using words. Try auditioning your 'Star Wars' role speaking in bizarre alien utterances instead of actually speaking the lines as written." (Baker), and "When you choose your voice and character, be uniquely you" (Salenger).
