Tom Hiddleston Traveled Incognito To Comic-Con As Jango Fett

Most of you have probably seen Tom Hiddleston's epic presentation of the Thor: The Dark World trailer at San Diego Comic-Con this past week. What you most likely haven't heard about is how Tom secretly traveled to the convention dressed as Jango Fett. Yes, you read that right; Loki himself, from the Avengers, cosplayed as Bounty hunter Jango Fett on his way to Comic-Con. In an interview with Hero Complex, Hiddleston explains that he wanted to keep his appearance in San Diego extra secret:

"I knew that if I was seen in San Diego there would be a picture on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook, “I’ve just seen Thomas in the San Diego airport, I’ve just seen him in the hotel. He’s obviously here for ‘Thor 2.’”

When asked how he acquired the costume he said he had to go out and buy one. Hero Complex then asked why he chose Jango, and he replied:

"I’m 6 foot 2. It was the only one that fit in the costume shop. They were sold out of Stormtroopers."

And he denies doing it to catch the attention of Episode VII director J.J Abrams:

"...I was just like, no Marvel. If I come as Iron Man, it’s too obvious. But if J.J. wants to read it as a subtle message, I’m fine with that."
