Through all the rumors of who would direct 2015's Star Wars Episode VII, one name always seemed to come up and stand out: Steven Spielberg. But now it seems that that will never happen. When asked by Access Hollywood if he would direct Episode VII, Spielberg responded with a resounding "No! No!". He then went on to explain that "It’s not my genre, it’s my best friend George’s genre." So, now that this rumor has been debunked, does it lend credibility to the rumor that X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn will be directing the Star Wars sequel? Only time will tell....
