European fans who have not been able to attend the last two Celebrations in Florida can now rejoice! It was announced during the Celebration VI closing ceremonies that Star Wars Celebration will, once again, be heading across the pond for Star Wars Celebration Europe II. The event will take place from July 26-28, 2013 at Messe Essen in Germany. This will be the first Celebration held in Europe since 2007 when the first Celebration Europe was held in London, England. For those who just can't wait, the official Celebration site has a count down to the opening of the big event! Now might be a good time for all of us to start practicing our German!
