One of the most active Lucasfilm employees, Bonnie Burton, has been laid off. Burton announced on Twitter that she had been laid off (while simultaneously providing the link to her Linkedin). Burton had been an employee at LucasFilm since 2003, running the official blog (which recently went on hiatus) with lots of reports on conventions and events such as Celebrations and San Diego Comic Con. In addition she wrote many great books such as You Can Draw Star Wars and The Star Wars Craft Book. We would like to thank Bonnie for being such a GREAT ambassador to the fans over the years and for all her hard work at LucasFilm and wish her the best in all her future endeavors. May The Force Continue To Be With You Bonnie!!
