CONTEST INFORMATION

Jimmy McInerney (Jimmy Mac) and Jason Swank of RebelForce Radio are once again teaming up with the "Customs for the Kid" blog to host a "Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty" custom action figure contest to commemorate the "Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty", the radio drama that was recorded live at Celebration Anaheim.  The radio drama is based on an original script by Kyle Newman and F.J. DeSanto. "Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty" was directed by Kyle Newman (Fanboys) and produced by Jimmy “Mac” McInerney of RebelForce Radio, who whipped up over 100 sound effects and music cues that were blasted live onstage alongside some of the best Star Wars voice actors around today live to a packed audience of diehard fans at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.   The last custom action figure contest that was held for "Star Wars: Smuggler's Gambit" was a huge success, so this one is sure to be fun for all involved.  Show them what you can do!

First time customizers are greatly encouraged to jump in on the fun. We want as many entries as possible. This is an ALL AGES event.

ALL ENTRIES received will be displayed in a video at RebelForceRadio.com and on the "Customs for the Kid" blog.

RULES

-All custom action figure entries must be of characters that appear in the Star Wars radio drama "Smuggler's Bounty". Custom action figures can be in any scale.

-Participants are encouraged to submit as many entries as they wish. Please include 1 - 4 photos per custom action figure submitted (Front, Back, Left, and Right).

-Photoshop manipulations such as glowing lightsabers and blaster fire will not be accepted. We want the focus to be on the customs and not on their digital enhancement.

-Include your email, name, and mailing address, with your entry.

-All photo entries must be sent to the following email address: show@rebelforceradio.com with the Subject line "Smuggler's Bounty Customs".

Notice that nowhere in the rules does the contest say that it has to be a "brand new" custom. If you made a custom years ago that appeared in the "Smuggler's Bounty" story just enter it. It only takes a few seconds to email a few pictures. Especially if you have already photographed it. SHOW US YOUR STAR WARS ART!

Make sure your picture(s) are attached in your email and all the contest's rules have been complied with before you send your email.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim will bear witness to the debut of the highly anticipated audio dramatic triumph known as Star Wars: Smuggler's Bounty. Best known for directing the successful film about Star Wars fans Fanboys, Kyle Newman will retake his seat in the director’s chair for this audio drama, which will be performed live at Star Wars Celebration.

The premise of the show will revolve around Han Solo during the time period of the Original Trilogy. The audio performance will incorporate hosts from all three of the Celebration stages, namely David Collins (Digital Stage) who will star as Han Solo in the play, James Arnold Taylor (Celebration Stage) who will also be lending his voice to the show, and Jimmy Mac (co-host Behind-The Scenes stage) who will be producing the the play live.  The play was co-written by filmmaker F.J. DeSanto.

The exclusive showcase of this audio phenomenon will be met with thunderous cheers. The predecessor titled Star Wars: Smugglers Gambit was a splendid accomplishment. This new drama will incorporate a group of star-studded voice actors and actresses (which also includes Clone Wars veterans, Sam Witwer and Jamie King), the show will also capture the imagination through the integration of magnificent special effects and sound design. You will surely not want to miss out on this treat.
