Trailer For 'Solo' Novelization Features Glimpse At Deleted Scene

The novelization of Solo: A Star Wars Story hits book stores next week and to promote the upcoming release, Del Rey publishing has released a trailer for the book.  One of the major selling points for the book is the chance to experience new story content not featured in the film, so to hammer that point home the trailer features a quick look at a deleted scene.  The scene seems to be an extended escape scene with Han and Qi'Ra trying to avoid Proxima's gang and the Empire as they make their escape.  Check out the trailer below,

Three Excerpts From The 'Solo' Novelization Released

Lucasfilm has released three new excerpts from the upcoming novelization of Solo: A Star Wars Story by Mur Lafferty, all of which are scenes that were not featured in the film when it hit theaters back in May.  The scenes reveal what happened to Qi'Ra after she captured trying to escape Correlia with Han, how L3-37 reacted to being hooked up to the Millennium Falcon, and what Enfys Nest did with the Coaxium--a scene which features a couple of Rogue One cameos.  We've highlighted part of the final excerpt below,

Preview Excerpt From The 'Solo' Novelization Features A Deleted Scene

A new preview from the novelization (or "Expanded Edition") of Solo: A Star Wars Story has been released on StarWars.com.  The excerpt features a scene that does not appear in the film.  The scene is Han in a training exercise in the Imperial Navy, and the subsequent tribunal, where we see what he means when he says he was kicked out for having a mind of his own.  It also features the appearance of Tag and Bink, who were slated to appear in the film but the scene was cut before the theatrical release.  The Solo novelization is written by Mur Lafferty and hits shelves on September 4th.  You can read part of the excerpt below,
