'Alphabet Squadron' Trilogy Of Novels And 'TIE Fighter' Comic Book Series Announced

Lucasfilm made another exciting set of publishing announcement today on StarWars.com. First, it was announced that the upcoming novel Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron by Alexander Freed will be the first in a trilogy of novels.  This would be the third  trilogy of novels that will have been released as part of the "new" canon (the others being the Aftermath trilogy by Chuck Wendig and the new Thrawn trilogy by Tim Zahn). New Artwork & Details Revealed For Marvel's 'Age Of Star Wars' Comic Series

Some exciting things are coming down the pipe from Marvel's line of Star Wars comics very soon! Announced earlier this year at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel will be launching a new 30 issue maxi-series that will focus on characters from all three of the current trilogies. Age Of Republic, written by Jody Houser, Age Of Rebellion, written by Greg Pak, and Age Of Resistance, written by Tom Taylor, will delve into the Prequel, Original, and Sequel Trilogies, respectively, telling new stories with various characters from each era.

The panel includes various authors and creators including Tom Angleberger, Rae Carson, Charles Soule, Daniel José Older, Adam Rex, Katie Cook, Jody Houser, EK Johnston, Cavan Scott, Justina Ireland, Amy Ratcliffe and Timothy Zahn.
