A display of costumes from the upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker were on display this past weekend at The Essence Festival in New Orleans. The costumes displayed were Lando Calrissian, Poe Dameron, Rey, Finn, and Jannah (a new character played by Naomi Ackie). We first caught an official glimpse at the new looks for the characters back at Star Wars Celebration Chicago in April when the first teaser for the film was debuted. December 20th, 2019. The film is directed by JJ Abrams, with a script
by Abrams and Chris Terio, and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John
Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams,
Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall
Gleeson, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie Fisher.
